Prime Big Deal Days 2026 runs October 6 and 7, and the deals are for Amazon Prime members. To shop it from outside the U.S., join Prime or start a free trial, add a U.S. forwarding address like your Shipito address to Amazon.com, then combine your orders into one box and ship them to your country.

With October here, Amazon Prime Big Deal Days is just around the corner. You want to take advantage of the sale, but Amazon won't ship some items to your location. Don't worry, because there's good news: international shoppers can buy from Amazon and get around shipping restrictions with a U.S. forwarding address.

How does Prime Big Deal Days compare to Prime Day and Black Friday?

Among the biggest sales in the U.S. are Amazon Prime Day, Prime Big Deal Days, and Black Friday. They might seem similar, but each is a distinct sale with different dates and different shoppers:

  • Prime Day: June 23 to 26, 2026. Prime members only. Big discounts on Amazon devices like Kindle, Echo, Fire TV, Blink, Ring, and eero, plus tech and home items.
  • Prime Big Deal Days: October 6 to 7, 2026, starting at 12:01 a.m. Pacific time. Prime members only, with 48 hours of deals across more than 35 categories. A great head start on holiday gifts.
  • Black Friday: November 27, 2026, the day after U.S. Thanksgiving. Open to all shoppers, with deals across almost every store and category.

Now that you know the differences, you can plan when to shop and for what. Missed June's sale? See our Prime Day 2026 shipping guide for how that event worked.

Why does Amazon block some items from international delivery?

You may see an alert saying an item "cannot be shipped to your selected delivery location." This can happen for several reasons:

  • Export restrictions: An item may be too large or oddly shaped to ship to certain regions, or it may be a restricted product with import or export limits.
  • Manufacturer agreements: Some manufacturers restrict their products to U.S. shipping only.
  • Hazmat classifications: Items like lithium batteries, perfumes, and aerosols are hard or even prohibited to ship by air. See what you can't ship internationally.
  • Marketplace-seller settings: Some marketplace sellers choose not to ship outside the United States.

How do you order to a forwarding address on Amazon?

Shipping restrictions can be a huge headache, especially for big-ticket or special items. The solution is a forwarding address. You don't need to live in the U.S. to receive your package. Here's how to set up your free Shipito U.S. address on Amazon:

Add your Shipito address

Make sure you're shopping on Amazon.com, Amazon's U.S. site. Then go to "Your Account" and "Your Addresses." Enter your Shipito address exactly as it appears in your Shipito account, including your suite number. That number is how we identify the packages that belong to you.

Choose the tax-free Oregon warehouse if you can

Free accounts use our California warehouse by default, with 7 days of free storage, and California deliveries include sales tax. Premium members can ship to any of our warehouses, including Oregon, which has no sales tax, so you pay just the listed price. Premium also includes 45 or 60 days of storage, depending on your level.

Avoid split shipments

Instead of shipping each order on its own, use our consolidation option to combine items from multiple orders into one shipment. That saves you from paying international shipping on every box.

What to do when a seller rejects the address

Double-check that you entered the address and suite number correctly. If you still get errors, check whether your item falls under one of the restrictions above. Even with a U.S. address, some limits can still apply.

Do you need Amazon Prime?

Yes, for this sale. Amazon says you need a Prime membership to shop the Prime Big Deal Days deals, and new members can start a free trial. Prime also gets your orders to our warehouse faster, sometimes in as little as two days.

Prime doesn't cover your international delivery, though. That part is handled by your forwarding service, so pairing Prime with a Shipito Premium membership gives you tax-free Oregon shipping, longer storage, and lower fees. Black Friday, on the other hand, is open to everyone.

How can consolidation save you up to 80%?

Saving doesn't have to stop when the sale ends. When you combine orders from both sale days into one shipment, you can save up to 80% on shipping, because you don't pay a separate international shipping charge for every order.

Say you order five items during Prime Big Deal Days. Shipped one by one, you'd pay for five international shipments. Consolidated, those five items become one shipment with one shipping charge. You can also choose how we pack them:

  • Keep outside box: All your items, as they arrived, are packed into a larger box.
  • Keep retail packaging: The shipping boxes are removed, but each product keeps its retail packaging.
  • Product only: All original packaging is removed, and only the products are packed.

Since weight and size affect your shipping cost, removing extra packaging can cut your costs even more.

What should you buy, and what should you skip?

Waiting for sale days, setting up an address, and combining packages may sound like a lot of work. Is it worth it? For many items, yes. Some things are cheaper to buy locally, but in many categories, U.S. prices and sale discounts make international shipping worth the effort. Here are the categories that often offer the best value:

  • Electronics and gadgets: Amazon devices, headphones, and smart home tech often see their deepest discounts during Amazon's sales.
  • Fashion and beauty: U.S. brands and beauty products can cost less in the U.S., with a wider range of sizes and shades.
  • Sports, fitness, and outdoor gear: Athletic apparel and gear from U.S. brands are often discounted during big sales.
  • Snacks and food: Favorite American snacks can be hard to find or expensive abroad. Check your country's food rules first.
  • Toys and collectibles: Educational toys, building sets, and collectibles often have a bigger selection in the U.S.
  • Books and comics: Fans can find editions and collections that are harder to get at home.

Before you buy, remember that your country may charge duties and taxes on arrival. Our guide to duties on U.S. packages explains how to estimate them.

FAQ

What do I do after your warehouse receives my package?

Go to your Shipito account, click "Action Required," and select your package. Complete the customs declaration form, and add any special requests, like consolidation or extra photos. Once everything is complete, mark the package as ready to send. Then choose your carrier and insurance, and pay for shipping when you're ready for it to leave the warehouse.

Amazon says my package was delivered, but it's not in my account. Where is it?

Our warehouses receive a very high volume of packages every day, so it can take up to two business days for a delivered package to appear in your account. This is especially true during big sales like Prime Big Deal Days. If two business days have passed and you still don't see it, submit a support ticket with your tracking number.

What if I forgot my suite number when I ordered?

Go to the Expected Package section of your account and enter your package details and tracking number so we can match it to you. If a package arrives without a suite number, or the name doesn't match the suite, it goes to our unclaimed packages area, where extra handling fees can apply. Always double-check your address before checkout.

Are there extra fees for long or heavy packages?

Yes. Heavy packages carry a surcharge of $10 for 30 to 69 pounds, $20 for 70 to 99 pounds, $30 for 100 to 149 pounds, and $50 for 150 pounds or more. Some carriers also add an oversized fee, such as UPS's $40 fee on international packages of 70 pounds or more.

Can I extend my storage time?

Yes. You can buy extra storage 7 days at a time, for $7 plus $1 for each day your package has been expired. Storage can be extended up to 4 times, or 28 extra days in total. After that, the package is considered abandoned and is disposed of, so plan your consolidation before your storage runs out.
